L'eau D'issey Pour Homme Cologne by Issey Miyake, L'eau D'issey is a crisp woody aquatic fragrance created by Jacques Cavallier in 1994. It is still popular, particularly as a summer scent. It opens with top notes of yuzu, mandarin orange, lemon verbena, bergamot, sage, tarragon, calone, cypress, and coriander. The heart is rich and spicy with middle notes of nutmeg, saffron, Ceylon cinnamon, blue lotus, mignonette, and geranium. The base notes of tobacco, cedar, musk, Tahitian vetiver, sandalwood, and amber introduce an intensely woody dry down to the bottom of the fragrance. This is a long-lasting scent with a strong sillage.
