The waxy, luxurious aroma of gardenias opens the top, followed by intoxicating, classical rose and crisp raspberry. Juicy black currant, spicy pink pepper, intoxicating jasmine and delicate peony create a smooth and creamy heart. Earthy musk, sweet vanilla and woody cedar fix a base for a sensual and comfortable dry down. The beginning impression is sweet but not cloying, transitioning to a fun and somewhat fizzy middle with perhaps a hint of saltwater. The fragrance has moderate projection and sillage with undertones of oud and something almost gourmand. It’s an excellent daytime perfume for all but the coldest seasons.
